28 July 2020, Győr – Mr. László Velekei, new director of the Ballet Company of Győr, drives a dynamic, Orca Black Audi Q7 S line Quattro from this day on. Partners for 23 years, Audi Hungaria handed over the car to the new director of the renowned ballet company. The car was assembled in Bratislava and mounted with a 286-horsepower engine made in Győr.
Supporting culture and arts is part of our corporate strategy and social responsibility. Audi Hungaria has been the main sponsor of the Ballet Company of Győr for eighteen years. The Audi Hungaria Award for Excellence in Dance Arts has been granted since 2014 and the four-ring company also provides cars for prominent dancers of the Győr Ballet group.
Mr. László Velekei, a leading member of the Győr Ballet, was appointed as director of the company on 1 July, 2020. His predecessor, Mr. János Kiss, was the leader of Győr Ballet for 29 years, making history in the process.
In the framework of this partnership, Győr Ballet has thrilled audiences in Germany, Beijing, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Moscow, London and on many other theater stages worldwide.
