• AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt organized its Volunteer Day for the 4th time now, with the participation of more than 500 employees
• Together with the 29 projects implemented this year, more than 100 social initiatives have been implemented so far

Győr, 18 September 2017—AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt has made a tradition by implementing social projects initiated by its employees every year, in the spirit of voluntary work. On the 4th Volunteer Day, institutes in and around Győr were renewed with the help and commitment of more than 500 Audi employees.
“It is good to see how popular the Audi Volunteer Day is. I am proud of my responsible co-workers who recognize where help is needed so we can act together”, Dr. Elisabeth Knab, Member of the Board of Management for Human Resources of AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt said. “The number of participants who grabbed working tools and workedfor good purposes clearly demonstrates the commitment of our employees. This way our company can also be present in the life of the region and take a role on the level of society”, Dr. Elisabeth Knab pointed out.
This year, too, Audi employees have initiated several education, social, healthcare and sports projects. The implemented works included refurbishment of schools, kindergartens and daycares, building parks, modernising playgrounds, installing sports equipment and renovating courtyards, among others. To be more specific, among them was the garden of the Győr institute of the Gezenguz Foundation for Babies and Children with Birth Injuries or the inner courtyard of the Elderly Care Centre in Apáca Street. At the Mother, Infant and Child Care Centre of Győr, internal refurbishment works were completed, while the fences of the PÁGISZ and the Lukács schools received new colours.
More than 500 employees, together with the employees of the chosen institutes, performed voluntary work in Győr and its agglomeration including Ásványráró, Bősárkány, Börcs, Bőny, Pér, Enese, Öttevény, Rábacsécsény, Rábapatona, Mezőörs, Gyarmat, Pázmándfalu, Győrsövényház, Rábapordány and Pannonhalma.
Together with the 29 projects implemented this year, more than 100 social initiatives have been implemented so far by employees of Audi Hungaria.
