Győr, 10 March 2017—Audi’s 1st RS compact limousine, the Audi RS 3 Limousine has been launched today in Győr. The first car of the new model is of ara blue color and came off the production line for a New Zealand customer . It is driven by a sporty 294 kW (400 HP) 5-cylinder TFSI engine, which was also manufactured by Audi Hungaria.

“Not only our models are sporty, but the Audi Hungaria team as well: the serial production of the Audi TT RS Coupé and Roadster was only launched six months ago, and now our next great model, the Audi RS 3 Limousine has been launched, too”, Peter Kössler, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria said. “I am thankful to our colleagues for contributing to the competitiveness of our company with their flexibility and commitment.”

The Audi RS 3 Limousine , which is the sportiest model of the A3 Limousines manufactured by Audi Hungaria and the whole A3 model family, was introduced last year at the Paris Motor Show. Sticking to the traditions of compact RS models, the RS 3 Limousine is driven by the legendary 5-cylinder TFSI engine to ensure dynamism and the ultimate driving experience, which is further enhanced by the unique sound of the engine.

Audi Hungaria continues to stay in the fast lane: the portfolio of vehicle production in Győr will soon be extended with a new model, the Audi Q3. Preparations for the production of the compact SUV have already been started by building a new 80,000 m2 body shop.
