Audi Hungaria: New Respiratory Devices

Győr, 13 February 2017 — In terms of social responsibility, Audi Hungaria has supported the healthcare of the region with a recent donation. The aid enabled the stroke center at the Central Ward of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy of Aladár Petz County Training Hospital in Győr to purchase two respiratory devices, which greatly contributes to the enhancement of healthcare services.

“We hope that these two respiratory devices will save several lives and support Győr’s hospital in the development of a stroke center, where state-of-the-art equipment is at the physicians’ service”, Peter Kössler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI HUNGARIA said. “In the spirit of social responsibility, contributing to the enhancement of the region’s living standards is a core value for us.”

Audi joined the campaign of Győr (city with county rights) and the daily regional newspaper “Kisalföld” , in which the residents of the city and the region laid the financial foundations of the stroke center together. By this current acquisition, another development stage is implemented in the form of an interregional center to serve stroke patients.

The hospital’s Central Ward of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy offers fast and professional help for stroke patients. This often means survival to them, as patients here are monitored by professional physicians, nurses and therapists 24/7.

Audi Hungaria has been a devoted sponsor of the region’s healthcare ever since its establishment. In this spirit, it has actively supported Aladár Petz County Training Hospital, including the development of the cardiology center, the gastroenterology laboratory and the emergency ward as well as the establishment of the subintensive monitoring room for the surgery, vascular surgery and thoracic surgery ward. Besides supporting the hospital, Audi Hungaria also provides an Audi A3 Limousine for the emergency physicians of Győr.
