Four-ring donations for Christmas

Győr, 12 December, 2014. – This year Audi Hungaria announced its fundraising campaign which was first launched in 2013. Employees had two weeks to hand in shoeboxes containing non-perishable food products, clothes and toys at the collecting points.

As a result 600 boxes were collected which were symbolically donated to families in need at the central of the Family Support Service by Axel Schifferer, Managing Director for Financial Affairs at Audi Hungaria.
“I am delighted that this year our employees have contributed to the support of those living under difficult conditions even more, and I am certain they will cheer up the holidays of many people.”, said Axel Schifferer, Managing Director for Financial Affairs at Audi Hungaria. “As responsible corporation it is a crucial issue for us to motivate our staff to take up social responsibility. The fundraising campaign showed us that the employees of Audi help those in need selflessly. I want to express my gratitude for the donations of our employees in this way too.”
Aside from the families in need, Audi packages will also be sent to the Rehab Centre and Homeless Shelter in Likócs and the Youth Protection of the County Győr-Moson-Sopron.
