Audi Hungaria and ETO KC continue their championship partnership

•Sponsorship agreement with the Győr ladies handball team is extended for an additional three years as team advances to BL (Champion’s League) finals
• Close cooperation is key to future success

In its role as primary sponsor, AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. continues its cooperation with the ladies handball team Audi ETO KC of Győr for the next three years. Dr. Johannes Roscheck, Managing Director for Finance of Audi Hungaria and Ernő Kelecsényi, President of ETO KC, extended the eponymous Sponsorship Agreement between the company and the handball club today.

“We are committed to supporting the ladies handball team over the long term, and the successes achieved by the team attest to the rightness of our decision. As a manufacturer of premium vehicles and engines, we are pleased to have an opportunity to sponsor a team that is successful even at an international level,” said Dr. Johannes Roscheck upon signing the Agreement.

Ernő Kelecsényi, President of ETO KC stated: “For an athletic club it is of crucial importance to obtain a reliable, strong partnership base in order to implement its strategy. Audi’s sponsorship allows ETO Győr to have a long-term vision, and to set and implement increasingly ambitious goals year after year. We are thrilled that the successes achieved this year have resulted in genuine, world-class athletic experiences not only for the region, but for the entire country.”

This season, as an eight-time Hungarian champion, Audi ETO KC advanced to the EHF Champions League finals for 2011/12. Audi Hungaria has been the eponymous sponsor of the ladies handball team since 2006.

As a premium partner, besides financial support, it provides 18 vehicles in total to club management and players, including A3 models and a Q7.

Located in Győr, AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. has been an integral part of life in the region since 1993. For years, the company has sponsored future-oriented regional cultural and sporting events with exceptional added value – such as the innovative engines and sports cars of Audi Győr –, thereby improving the quality of life of Győr’s citizens.
