The 8,000th employee at Audi Hungaria

2012. 04. 05.

• Over 600 new jobs since January 2012
• The 8,000th employee will work at the new vehicle assembly line
• Excellent career opportunities for highly qualified professionals

Another evidence of the company’s growth: the 8,000th employee at AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft started work today. 32-year-old Krisztián Écsi will work as a team coordinator at the new vehicle assembly line. Since January 2012, more than 600 new jobs have been created at the company.

“The 8,000th Audi employee in Győr also shows our dynamic growth. Only seven months have passed since we welcomed the 7,000th employee at the company. We are very happy to have created 1,000 new jobs in such a short time”, said Richárd Rozman, Managing Director of Human Resources at Audi Hungaria. “We receive more than 100 applications every day and this also proves the company’s attractiveness.”

With the factory expansion to be completed by 2013, 2,100 new workplaces will be created at Audi Hungaria. The new vehicle factory currently employs almost 900 employees. The training of new employees takes place at the company’s Project and Training Centre. Several employees also take part in 3 to 6-month-long training at Audi’s sites in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm, Germany.

The company’s existing fields, such as technological development, engine production and tool manufacturing are also developing dynamically. This is shown by the fact that last year 1,450 new employees were hired by Audi Hungaria.

The company plans to hire several hundreds of workers in 2012. The company is seeking professionals especially for the new vehicle factory’s painting, press and bodywork plant, vehicle assembly, and for the fields of technological development, engine production and tool manufacturing.
