Promising entry level jobs for career starters: This year AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. will launch its international ‘Trainee’ programme, an exemplary entry level employment initiative offering 20 university and college graduates job opportunities at the company each year. Selected new recruits will get an insight into the operational areas of the company before actually starting their work. The 12-month ‘Trainee’ programme contains production training, project work, various training courses and opportunities to work abroad.
‘Our goal is to attract high-performing university and college graduates to Audi Hungaria, and support their integration and personal development through a special corporate programme. New graduates may expand their knowledge through learning about corporate processes, which is also the most optimal way of getting them prepared for their future jobs’, explained Richárd Rozman, Managing Director Human Ressources of Audi Hungaria.
Recruitment will commence in October 2011, and the first ten trainees will start work in February 2012. The company is looking for new graduates in technology and economics with outstanding school performance, experience in trainee programmes and with international experience. Applicants are required to speak German and English and have a performance-oriented approach. New recruits will be employed from day one under employment contracts for an indefinite period.
The key components of the one-year programme include: gaining manufacturing experience in the production facilities of Audi Hungaria, project work at different units of the company, and a three-month foreign assignment to one of the concern factories. Within the framework of the programme, selected participants will be mentored by a company management member. In addition to technical trainings, new recruits will have the opportunity to attend non-technical courses, such as intercultural and presentation skills trainings, language courses and specialized seminars.
College and university students voted Audi Hungaria “Most Attractive Employer” of Hungary for the third time in 2011. The company pays particular attention to the supply of new workforce. High-performing students may connect with company as trainees, for example within the ‘Audi Adventure’ trainee programme, while writing their thesis paper or even at job fairs.
Audi Hungaria has a strategic partnership with Széchenyi István University and the Budapest University of Technology any Economics.
The Audi Hungaria Internal-Combustion Engines Department was established in 2007. Its objective is to facilitate the entry of well-prepared and talented new graduates into the labour market by conveying engineering expertise in line with the latest trends. With its new ‘Trainee’ programme the company breaks new grounds in its human resources strategy.
